Re-Invention is something I really been thinking off since new years eve 2011 in preparing for 2012. So from that day I began listening to past & present January Vi-messages of the month on Re-Invention (New year - New you), Starting with a clean slate mindset & Having your best year ever…
Below are 15 points that Blake Mallen spoke about/What I took from the messages & Some of my Goals to Re-Invent my Lifestyle…I hope this will bring value to you, It has for me:)!!!
1) The word “Tabula Rasa” which means Clean slate “Know we don’t come into this world Pre-programmed (hardwired) we come with a blank slate”
2) What could I/You start doing to make this year the best year ever & your goals come through…What could I/You decide (resolve:) so that your life can take a 360% turn for the better over the next 360 day/next year - In 90days/3month chunks?
3) The Latin root word for “Decision” means To cut off from - to cut off from any other option.
4) In a time of decision, look at the decision as empowering (those that get you closer to your goals) or dis-empowering (those that move you furthur away from your goals) & choose the Empowering one!!!
5) A Change in Belief…Change in Thinking is necessary!
6) Move from using you “Will Power” to using your “Power of your Why”
7) Stay away from negative & environment, while creating a powerful positive paradigm
8) Successful people think backwards…with the End In Mind (2nd Habit from Steven Covey’s “7 habits of highly successful people”:)
9) The greater the challenge the greater the reward
10) You can’t just do the right actions, you must also do them with the right intentions for them to get you to your goals
11) Remove limitation & Think what you would do if time & money wasn’t an issue (If you had all the resources in the world)…What would you do, start, create? Use these to create a Dream circle. Think off all you want, write them down…Review them…Visualize daily & expand your imagination. “The more you focus the more it will work”
12) Outline your Long term goals & Top 5 goals of the year 2012…Break down your goals, make them S.M.A.R.T goals & Go Public…share with others (especially mentors:) Like Blake Mallen said : “I challenge you to share your goals”
13) You have to change/re-invent yourself to get to a new place…You have to do more to have more!
14) Anyting is possible in a year…If your pasionate about what you are doing & it drives you to wake up with energy & excitement!
15) Remember: Change…Grow…Become!!!

5) Travel, meet new people & create new experiences (Visit new places/Countries)
